§22-717. Disobeying defendant's subpoena - Forfeiture.

A witness disobeying a subpoena issued on the part of the defendant, also forfeits to the defendant the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00), which may be recovered in a civil action. R.L.1910, § 6023.
