390.17 Interest on university fund; use for improvement of grounds and purchase of apparatus.
Sec. 17.
The board of regents shall have power to expend so much of the interest arising from the university fund, as may be necessary for the improving and ornamenting the university grounds, for the purchase of philosophical, chemical, meteorological, and other apparatus and to keep the same in good condition.
