§5–103.
(a)Except as provided in subsection
(b)of this section, this title applies to the working conditions at each work place in the State.
(b)This title does not apply to a working condition of:
(1)an employee of the federal government or its units; or
(2)an employee whose occupational safety and health is protected under:
(i)the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977;
(ii)the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act; or
(iii)the Atomic Energy Act of 1954.
