Section 17A. There shall be a cabinet, which shall serve under the governor. The cabinet shall consist of the secretary of administration and finance, the secretary of education, the secretary of aging and independence, the secretary of energy and environmental affairs, the secretary of health and human services, the secretary of economic development, secretary of housing and livable communities, the secretary of labor and workforce development, the secretary of public safety and security, the secretary of transportation, the secretary of veterans' services and other officers of the executive department that the governor may from time to time designate.
