62.0503 Validation of acts of certain officers without bonds -- Sunset provision.

(1)Any act done, prior to his removal from office, by an officer removed from office
pursuant to provisions of KRS 62.990 or other applicable statute for a violation of
KRS 62.050 or other bonding statute is legalized, as against the Commonwealth, to
the extent that the act may have been invalid solely because of failure to file the
required bond in a timely manner.
(2)Any act done by an officer subject to removal from office pursuant to the provisions
of KRS 62.990 or other applicable statute for a violation of KRS 62.050 or other
bonding statute is legalized, as against the Commonwealth, to the extent that the act
may have been invalid solely because of failure to file the required bond, or to file
the required bond in a timely manner.
(3)The provisions of this section shall apply to any covered act done by any officer
currently in office.
(4)The provisions of this section shall expire on December 31, 1999.
