181.600 Restrictions on members and employees.

(1)No member, engineer, superintendent or foreman of the bridge commission shall:
(a)Be employed by or hold any official or pecuniary relation to any person selling
or furnishing material for the construction, improvement or maintenance of
the bridge;
(b)Be a candidate for or hold any public office other than that of commissioner;
or
(c)Be a member of any political committee.
(2)No commissioner shall be an employee under the bridge commission.
(3)If any commissioner, engineer, superintendent or foreman violates the provisions of
paragraph
(b)or
(c)of subsection
(1)of this section, his office or position shall be
ipso facto vacated.
