and 205.525. For the purposes of KRS 15.812, 205.178, 205.193, 205.200, 205.231, 205.232, and 205.525, unless context requires otherwise:

(1)"Cash assistance":

(a)Means cash benefits provided under this chapter, including via an electronic

benefit transfer card; and

(b)Does not include foster care payments, kinship care payments, fictive kin care

payments, or relative placement payments made by the cabinet; and

(2)"Public assistance" has the same meaning as in KRS 205.010 but does not include

foster care payments, kinship care payments, fictive kin care payments, or relative

placement payments made by the cabinet.
