199.650 Authorized activities of child-caring facilities or child-placing agencies --

Child-caring facility to designate on-site official to apply reasonable and
prudent parent standard.
(1)Any licensed child-caring facility or child-placing agency may contract to provide
care, maintenance, and services for a child in accordance with the terms of its
license.
(2)Any licensed child-caring facility or child-placing agency may receive children
committed to its custody and provide care and services for the child until the child
is discharged from custody pursuant to law.
(3)Each licensed child-caring facility shall designate an on-site official who is trained
and authorized to apply the reasonable and prudent parent standard as defined in
KRS 199.011 in accordance with 42 U.S.C. sec. 671.
