All parking lots and garages which park or store automobiles for hire and assume to act as bailees for said automobile shall post a sign of not less than twenty-four

The sign shall be placed in a conspicuous place at or near the entrance of the parking lot or storage garage, at or near the eye level of a motorist seated in an automobile, and shall be well-lighted at all times while the parking facility is opened for business.
