12-1225c. Johnson county librarian; duties.
(a)In Johnson county, the county librarian shall be subject to the same privileges and immunities as the head of any county department. The county librarian shall be charged with the daily administration of the library and may hire or terminate the employment of subordinate employees. Employees shall be eligible for benefits provided by subsection
(b)of K.S.A. 12-1225b . The board of county commissioners, upon request of the library board, may grant exceptions, by resolution, to those policies and procedures provided pursuant to subsection
(b)of K.S.A. 12-1225b .
(b)The provisions of this section shall take effect and be in force on and after January 1, 1985.
