[§ 323J-6] Denial of demands for surrender. Notwithstanding any provision of chapter 832 to the contrary, the governor shall deny any demand made by the executive authority of any state for the surrender of any person charged with a crime under the laws of that state when the alleged crime involves the provision or receipt of, paying for, or assistance with, reproductive health care services, unless the acts forming the basis of the prosecution would also constitute a criminal offense in this State. This section shall not apply to demands made under Article IV, section 2, of the United States Constitution. [L 2023, c 2, pt of §4]
