Notwithstanding Section 10850, the State Department of Social Services shall provide the State Department of Developmental Services with CalWORKs and CalFresh eligibility and enrollment data for consumers served by the State Department of Developmental Services for the purposes of monitoring and evaluating employment outcomes to determine the effectiveness of the Employment First Policy established pursuant to Section 4689. This information shall be provided to the extent permitted under applicable federal statutes and regulations.
The State Department of Developmental Services shall maintain the confidentiality of any information provided to it by the State Department of Social Services to the same extent as if the State Department of Developmental Services had acquired the information directly.
