Subsection
(a)of section 2711 of title 18, United States Code, as so designated and amended by section 601 of this Act, is amended by adding at the end the following: the term online service provider means a provider of electronic communication service, a provider of remote computing service, or a provider of an interactive computer service (as defined in section 230(f) of the Communications Act of 1934 ( 47 U.S.C. 230(f) )); and . Section 2703 of title 18, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a), in the first sentence, by striking a provider of electronic communication service and inserting an online service provider ; in subsection (c)— in paragraph (1), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking a provider of electronic communication service or remote computing service and inserting an online service provider ; and in paragraph (2), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking A provider of electronic communication service or remote computing service and inserting An online service provider ; and in subsection (g), by striking a provider of electronic communications service or remote computing service and inserting an online service provider .
