In addition to amounts otherwise provided by section 101 for Department of Justice—United States Marshals Service—Salaries and Expenses , there is appropriated $30,000,000, for an additional amount for fiscal year 2026, to remain available until September 30, 2027, of which $7,000,000 shall be used to carry out protective operations, and of which $23,000,000 shall be used to enhance the Federal judicial security mission: That the United States Marshals Service shall provide to the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the Senate quarterly reports, beginning 30 days after the date of enactment of this Act, detailing the current United States Marshals Service protective details, the associated cost of those protective details, and the threat assessments or other information used as the basis for providing the protective details:
Provided, That such amount is designated by the Congress as being for an emergency requirement pursuant to section 4001(a)(1) of S. Con. Res. 14 (117th Congress), the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2022, and to legislation establishing fiscal year 2026 budget enforcement in the House of Representatives. Provided further,
