Section 302 of the National Quantum Initiative Act ( 15 U.S.C. 8842 ) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking 5 and inserting 10 ; in subsection (c)— in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking basic ; and in paragraph (1), by striking science and engineering and inserting science, engineering, and technology ; and in subsection (d)(2)— in subparagraph (A), by striking quantum science and inserting quantum information science, engineering, and technology, ; in subparagraph (B), by inserting health, after chemistry, ; and in subparagraph (C), by inserting , including how each participant will develop and implement outreach activities to increase the participation of women and other students from groups historically underrepresented in STEM before the semicolon.
