Sec. 607. Standardized training for ICE agents

The Secretary of Homeland Security shall establish a required 5-month full-time training program for each immigration officer (as such term is defined in section 101 of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1101 )) who is hired by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Any immigration officer employed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement who was hired before the date of enactment this Act and who did not complete a 5-month training program shall complete such program not later than one year after such date of enactment.
