Subsection
(a)of the first section of Public Law 100–137 ( 2 U.S.C. 6313 ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Effective on and after October 1, 2026, the funds from the Senators’ Account may not be used to purchase or lease a motor vehicle unless the motor vehicle— has a final assembly place (as such term is defined in section 32304 of title 49, United States Code) in the United States; and is assembled by employees who are covered by a collective bargaining agreement. .
