Section 101 of the House of Representatives Administrative Reform Technical Corrections Act ( 2 U.S.C. 5341 ) is amended— by redesignating subsections
(c)through
(e)as subsections
(d)through (f), respectively; and by inserting after subsection
(b)the following new subsection: The funds from the Members’ Representational Allowance may not be used to purchase or lease a motor vehicle unless the motor vehicle— has a final assembly place (as such term is defined in section 32304 of title 49, United States Code) in the United States; and is assembled by employees who are covered by a collective bargaining agreement. . The amendments made by this section shall take effect on October 1, 2026.
