Sec. 2852. Modification to unspecified minor military construction authority for laboratory revitalization projects

Section 2805 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph
(2)of subsection (b), by striking $4,000,000 and inserting $6,000,000 ; in subsection (d)— by striking $9,000,000 each place it appears and inserting $20,000,000 ; in paragraph (3), by inserting and that costs more than the amount specified in subsection (b)(2) after to which this subsection applies ; by redesignating paragraph
(4)as paragraph (6); and by inserting after paragraph
(3)the following new paragraphs: The Secretary concerned shall review, on an annual basis, the thresholds for funding specified in this section to determine whether such thresholds should be increased. In making a determination under subparagraph (A), the Secretary of concerned shall consider the UFC 3-701-01 DoD Facilities Pricing Guide. If the Secretary concerned makes a decision to increase a threshold for funding specified in this section, the Secretary concerned shall notify the appropriate committees of Congress of such decision and the facts concerning the increase to such threshold. Such increase may take effect only after the end of the 14-day period beginning on the date the notification is received by such appropriate committees of Congress in an electronic medium pursuant to section 480 of this title. ; and by striking subsection
(f)and inserting the following: During the period beginning on the date of the enactment of the Military Construction Act for Fiscal Year 2026 and ending on September 30, 2028, the Secretary concerned shall adjust the dollar limitations specified in this section applicable to an unspecified minor military construction project to reflect the area construction cost index for military construction projects published by the Department of Defense during the prior fiscal year for the location of the project, except that no limitation specified in this section may exceed $30,000,000 as the result of any adjustment made under this subsection. .
