Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, and annually thereafter, the Director of National Intelligence shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report describing— the extent of Hamas’ funding by Iran; the extent regarding how the enforcement of United States sanctions on Iranian oil affect the resources of Hamas; and an assessment of how the enforcement of United States sanctions on Iran during the period of 2019–2020 as compared to 2021–2023 affected Hamas budgets. The report required by subsection
(a)shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex if necessary. The unclassified portion of such report shall be made available on a publicly available internet website of the Federal Government. In this section, the term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on Financial Services of the House of Representatives; and the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, and the Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate.
