Section 373(b) of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act ( 7 U.S.C. 2008h(b) ) is amended— by striking paragraph
(1)and inserting the following: Except as provided in paragraph (2), the Secretary may not make or guarantee a loan under this title to a borrower for a period of 7 years after the borrower has received debt forgiveness. ; and in paragraph (2)(A)(ii), by striking chapters and inserting chapter .
