Section 2306(d) of title 38, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (4)(B)(i), by inserting , except as provided in paragraph

(5)after 1917 ; and in paragraph (5)(C)— by striking clause (i); and by redesignating clauses

(ii)and

(iii)as clauses
