The Comptroller General of the United States shall— conduct a study assessing— the extent to which clinical guidelines for treating pregnant and parenting patients with substance use disorder and their children are implemented; any systemic and other barriers to ensuring that patients and children described in subparagraph
(A)get access to up-to-date care that addresses the complexity of co-occurring substance use disorder and pregnancy; and access to treatment for pregnant and postpartum individuals with substance use disorder and the impacts of interactions with child welfare systems; and not later than 2 years after the date of enactment of this Act, submit a report to Congress on the results of such study.
