Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this section, the Administrator shall submit to the appropriate committees of Congress, a report on the FAA's progress with respect to the Aviation Safety Information Analysis and Sharing (ASIAS) program that— describes the phased approach the FAA is following to construct the ASIAS system; describes the efforts of the FAA to secure increased safety data from— commercial air carriers; general aviation operators; helicopter operators; unmanned aircraft system operators; and other aircraft operators; and provides a summary of the efforts of the FAA to address gaps in safety data provided from any of the classes of operators described in paragraph (2).
