Sec. 413. Formalized counterintelligence training for Department of Energy personnel

Section 215(d) of the Department of Energy Organization Act ( 42 U.S.C. 7144b ) is amended by adding at the end the following: The Director shall develop and implement— a delineated and standardized training plan with respect to counterintelligence to train all personnel in the Department; and a separate delineated and standardized training plan with respect to counterintelligence to train officers in the Office who have counterintelligence responsibilities. . Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of the Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence of the Department of Energy shall provide to the congressional intelligence committees a briefing on the plans developed under section 215(d)(3) of the Department of Energy Organization Act (as amended by subsection (a)), including with respect to— the training content; periodicity; fulfillment rate; internal controls; and oversight.
