Section 24 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act ( 7 U.S.C. 136v ) is amended— in the section heading by inserting after and localities ; and States by adding at the end the following: A political subdivision of a State shall not impose, or continue in effect, any requirement relating to the sale, distribution, labeling, application, or use of any pesticide or device that is subject to regulation— by a State pursuant to this section; or by the Administrator under this Act. .
