Sec. 743. Report on approving certain transitional and residential brain injury treatment programs

The Secretary of Defense shall conduct a study to analyze the feasibility of recognizing transitional and residential brain injury treatment programs that are approved by non-governmental accreditation bodies solely to provide services to members of covered Armed Forces who sustained a brain injury in the course of performing active duty. Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to Congress a report setting forth the findings and conclusions of the study conducted pursuant to subsection (a). In this section, the term covered Armed Forces means the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Space Force.
