Sec. 742. Study on blood work of members of the Armed Forces regarding COVID-19

Not later than September 30, 2025, the Secretary of Defense shall conduct a study to test the blood of members of the Armed Forces relating to relating to COVID-19. The study under this section shall include the following elements: Testing to detect nucleocapsid protein immunoglobin-G antibodies relating to COVID-19. Testing to detect T-cell immune response to COVID-19. An assessment of the efficacy of each vaccine for COVID-19 in comparison to— each other such vaccine; and infection-acquired immunity.
An accounting of adverse events (including hyperimmune response), disaggregated by— each vaccine described in paragraph (3); and history of infection. Not later than 180 days after completing the study, the Secretary shall submit a report on such study to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and House of Representatives.
