Section 1055 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 ( Public Law 114–328 ; 10 U.S.C. 113 note) is amended— in subsection (b)— in paragraph (1), by striking paragraph
(3)and inserting paragraphs
(3)and
(4); by redesignating paragraphs
(3)through
(5)as paragraphs
(4)through (6), respectively; by inserting after paragraph
(2)the following new paragraph: In the event that the provision of defense sensitive support is routine defense sensitive support, the Secretary shall provide notification under paragraph
(1)on a quarterly basis after providing the support. ; in paragraph (4), as so redesignated— in the paragraph heading, by inserting after and extraordinary security protections ; support in the matter preceding subparagraph (A)— by inserting or requires extraordinary security protections after time-sensitive ; and by inserting shall after Secretary ; in subparagraph (A)— by striking may ; by inserting or after the activity supported concludes after providing the support ; and by striking ; and and inserting ; or ; and in subparagraph (B)— by striking shall ; and by striking notice as soon as practicable after providing such support, but not later than 48 hours after providing the support and inserting notification simultaneously with the execution of the supported activity ; and in paragraph (5), as so redesignated, by striking paragraphs

The term routine defense sensitive support has the meaning given such term elsewhere in the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025. .
