Section 379I of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act ( 7 U.S.C. 2008w ) is amended— in subsection (b), by adding at the end the following: At least 1 grant awarded under paragraph
(1)shall be for the purposes of supporting the development of plant protein products. ; in subsection (d)(1)(B)(vi), by inserting , including the development of new plant protein products before the semicolon; and in subsection (j), by striking $10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2019 through 2023 and inserting $30,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2024 through 2028 .
