It is the policy of the United States to— promote, fund, and support the protection of children from violence, exploitation, abuse, and neglect by investing in preventative and responsive programming care in relevant foreign assistance programs; and rely on evidence-based, efficient, and effective interventions in strategies and programs to support vulnerable children, promote permanent family care, and protect children from violence, exploitation, and abuse.
