Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General of the United States shall initiate a study of the effectiveness of the Collegiate Training Initiative Program for Unmanned Aircraft Systems, established pursuant to section 632 of the FAA Reauthorization Act 2018 ( 49 U.S.C. 40101 note). Upon completion of the study under subsection (a), the Comptroller General shall submit to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate a report describing— the findings of the study; and any recommendations to improve and expand the Collegiate Training Initiative Program for Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
