Section 122 of the Aircraft Certification, Safety, and Accountability Act ( Public Law 116–260 ) is amended— by striking subsection (b)(2) and inserting the following: conduct an annual agency-wide evaluation of the Compliance Program through fiscal year 2028 to assess the functioning and effectiveness of such program and to determine— the need for long-term metrics that, to the maximum extent practicable, apply to all program offices to assess the effectiveness of the program; if the program ensures the highest level of compliance with safety standards; and if the program has met its stated safety goals and purpose; ; in subsection (c)(4) by striking 2023 and inserting 2028 ; and in subsection
(d)by striking 2023 and inserting 2028 .
