Sec. 510. Increases to monthly rates of basic pay for certain enlisted members of the uniformed services

Beginning on January 1, 2024, the rate of monthly basic pay for certain enlisted members of the uniformed services shall be paid in accordance with the following: In the case of a member in grade E-1 with more than four months of service, such rate may not be less than $2,600.60. In the case of a member in grade E-2, such rate may not be less than $2,799.20. In the case of a member in grade E-3— with less than three years of service, such rate may not be less than $2,900.90; with at least three, but less than four, years of service, such rate may not be less than $2,950.60; with at least four, but less than six, years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,000.60; and with at least six years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,050.60.
In the case of a member in grade E-4— with less than two years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,010.50; with at least two, but less than three, years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,060.60; with at least two, but less than three, years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,100.10; with at least four, but less than six, years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,150.80; with at least six, but less than eight, years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,210.30; and with at least eight years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,260.30.
In the case of a member in grade E-5— with less than two years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,100.30; with at least two, but less than three, years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,150.20; with at least two, but less than three, years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,200.20; and with at least four years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,250.20. In the case of a member in grade E-6 with less than two years of service, such rate may not be less than $3,210.
Any adjustment, under section 1009 of title 37, United States Code, and effective on January 1, 2024, to a rate of basic monthly pay for a member described in subsection (a), shall be an adjustment to the applicable rate established by such subsection.
