Subsection
(a)of section 1209 of the Carl Levin and Howard P. Buck McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 ( Public Law 113–291 ; 128 Stat. 3541) is amended, in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking December 31, 2023 and inserting December 31, 2024 . Subsection (l)(3) of such section is amended— in subparagraph (A), by striking The President and all that follows through if the President and inserting The Secretary of Defense may waive the limitations under paragraph
(1)for the purposes of providing support under subsection (a)(4) if the Secretary ; by striking subparagraph (B); in subparagraph (C), by striking as required by subparagraph (B)(ii)(I) ; in subparagraph (D), by striking December 31, 2023 and inserting December 31, 2024 ; and by redesignating subparagraphs
(C)and
(D)as subparagraphs
(B)and (C), respectively.
