The Secretary shall enter into an agreement with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation pursuant to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Establishment Act ( 16 U.S.C. 3701 et seq.) to facilitate the implementation of the Western Monarch Butterfly Conservation Plan prepared by the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies and dated January 2019. Section 10(a) of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Establishment Act ( 16 U.S.C. 3709(a) ) shall not apply with respect to— the agreement entered into under subsection (a); or amounts made available to carry out this section.
There is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary $12,500,000 for each of fiscal years 2022 through 2026 to carry out this section.
