Sec. 511. Tribal transportation program

There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out the tribal transportation program under section 202 of title 23, United States Code, and there are appropriated, out of any monies in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated— for each of fiscal years 2023 through 2025, $1,000,000,000; and for fiscal year 2026 and each fiscal year thereafter, $800,000,000. The amounts made available under subsection
(a)for fiscal year 2027 and each fiscal year thereafter shall be adjusted annually to reflect the change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The limitation on obligations for Federal-aid highway and highway safety construction programs for each fiscal year shall not apply to the amounts made available under subsection (a). Amounts made available under subsection
(a)shall be available for obligation in accordance with section 201 of title 23, United States Code.
