Section 204(j)(1) of Public Law 90–284 ( 25 U.S.C. 1304(j)(1) ) (commonly known as the Indian Civil Rights Act of 1968 ) is amended, in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking There is authorized to be appropriated $25,000,000 and inserting There is authorized to be appropriated, and there is appropriated, out of any monies in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $50,000,000 .
