In this title: The term cannabis industry means any operation described in section 301 of the Federal Alcohol Administration Act, as added by section 511. The terms employee and employer have the meanings given such terms in section 3 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 ( 29 U.S.C. 652 ). The term employer in the cannabis industry means an employer engaged in any operation requiring a permit under section 301 of the Federal Alcohol Administration Act, as added by section 511.
The term person has the meaning given such term in section 3 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 ( 29 U.S.C. 652 ). The term Secretary means the Secretary of Labor. The term worker in the cannabis industry means any individual performing work for remuneration in the cannabis industry.
