The Infrastructure Transaction and Assistance Network, in consultation with the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States and the Office of Technical Assistance of the Department of the Treasury, shall, to protect the national security of the United States and countries that are allies or partners of the United States, establish a formal process for— the exchange of information relating to foreign investment with the governments of such countries; and the provision of assistance to those countries with respect to— reviewing foreign investment transactions in such countries; determining the beneficial ownership of parties to such transactions; and identifying trends in investment and technology that could pose risks to the national security of the United States and such countries.
