It is the sense of Congress that— the Department of Justice has failed to meet its reporting requirements under title IV of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2017 ( 34 U.S.C. 10101 et seq. ); and progress on critical data collection about human trafficking and crime reporting are in jeopardy as a result of such failure and must be addressed immediately.
