It is the policy of the United States to support peace, justice, and democratic governance in Colombia, including the full and timely implementation of the 2016 peace accord. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State, in consultation with the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, shall submit to the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives an evaluation framework that assesses the impact of United States diplomatic engagement and foreign assistance programming in support of the peace process in Colombia.
The Secretary of State, in consultation with the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, shall consult with the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives on the development of the evaluation framework required under paragraph (1).
