Notwithstanding section 135 of the William M.
(Mac)Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 ( Public Law 116–283 ), during the period beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act and ending on October 1, 2022, the Secretary of the Air Force may divest 18 KC–135 aircraft.
