Sec. 404. Joint task force to investigate anomalous health incidents

In this section, the term appropriate committees of Congress means— the congressional intelligence committees; the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; and the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives. The Director of National Intelligence and the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation shall jointly establish a task force to investigate anomalous health incidents. In carrying out an investigation under subsection (b), the task force established under such subsection shall consult with the Secretary of Defense.
Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the task force established under subsection
(b)shall complete the investigation required by such subsection and submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a written report on the findings of the task force with respect to such investigation. The report submitted pursuant to paragraph
(1)shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex.
