Sec. 337. Report on Nord Stream II companies and intelligence ties

In this section, the term appropriate committees of Congress means— the congressional intelligence committees; the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, the Committee on Foreign Relations, and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; and the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Energy and Commerce, the Committee on Financial Services, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives.
Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with other appropriate Federal Government entities, shall submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report on Nord Stream II efforts, including: an unclassified list of all companies supporting the Nord Stream II project; and an updated assessment of current or former ties between Nord Stream’s Chief Executive Officer and Russian, East German, or other hostile intelligence agencies.
The report required under subsection
(b)shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex, if necessary.
