Section 1245(d) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 ( 22 U.S.C. 8513a(d) ) is amended by striking paragraphs

(4)and

(5)and inserting the following: On and after the date of the enactment of the Iran Sanctions Preservation Act , the President may not issue any waiver of sanctions with respect to or license to authorize the purchase of petroleum or petroleum products from Iran. .
