Section 4701(2) of the Atomic Energy Defense Act ( 50 U.S.C. 2741(2) ) is amended by striking $20,000,000 and inserting $25,000,000 . Section 4703 of the Atomic Energy Defense Act ( 50 U.S.C. 2743 ) is amended— by redesignating subsection
(d)as subsection (e); and by inserting after subsection
(c)the following new subsection (d): Notwithstanding subsection (a), the Secretary may not start a minor construction project with a total estimated cost of more than $5,000,000 until— the Secretary notifies the congressional defense committees of such project and total estimated cost; and a period of 15 days has elapsed after the date on which such notification is received. . Section 3118(c) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 ( Public Law 111–84 ; 50 U.S.C. 2743 note) is repealed. Section 4706(b) of the Atomic Energy Defense Act ( 50 U.S.C. 2746(b) ) is amended by striking $2,000,000 each place it appears and inserting $5,000,000 .
