Section 330C of the Public Health Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 254c–3 ) is amended— in subsection (c)(2)— by redesignating subparagraphs
(A)through
(D)as clauses
(i)through (iv), respectively, and indenting appropriately; in the matter preceding clause
(i)(as so redesignated), by striking For the purpose and inserting the following: For the purpose ; in subparagraph
(A)(as so redesignated)— in clause
(iii)(as so redesignated), by striking and at the end; in clause
(iv)(as so redesignated), by striking 2023, to remain available until expended. and inserting 2022; and ; and by adding at the end the following: subject to subparagraph (B), $300,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2023 through 2032, to remain available until expended. ; and by adding at the end the following: The amount authorized to be appropriated under subparagraph (A)(v) for each of fiscal years 2024 through 2032 shall be adjusted annually to reflect the change in the medical care component of the consumer price index for all urban consumers (U.S. city average). ; by redesignating subsection
(c)as subsection (d); and by inserting after subsection
(b)the following: Grants provided under subsection
(a)shall be subject to the requirements of section 7(b) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act ( 25 U.S.C. 5307(b) ). .
