Section 7 of the Act of August 5, 1954 ( 42 U.S.C. 2004a ), is amended by adding at the end the following: There are authorized to be appropriated, and there are appropriated, out of any monies in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out this section— $1,200,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2023 through 2025; and $1,900,000,000 for fiscal year 2026 and each fiscal year thereafter. The amount made available under paragraph
(1)for fiscal year 2024 and each fiscal year thereafter shall be adjusted annually to reflect the change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. .
