Section 491 of title 37, United States Code— is revived to read as it did immediately before its repeal under section 604 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 ( Public Law 117–81 ); and is redesignated as section 431 of such title. The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 7 of such title is amended by inserting, after the item relating to section 427, the following new item: 431. Benefits for certain members assigned to the Defense Intelligence Agency. .
